The trailer of the family drama starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rashmika Mandana has been unveiled by the makers. The story of Goodbye revolves around self-discovery, the importance of family and the celebration of life in all circumstances beautifully portrayed by the Bhalla family. It is a heart-wrenching story of every Indian family taking the saddest time in the sunlight and promising to stay close even though a loved one is far away. At the trailer launch on Tuesday, the actress recalled her first meeting with Big B and how their relationship evolved.
Recalling her first meeting with Amitabh Bachchan, Rashmika Mandana said at a press conference on Tuesday, "I met Amitabh sir for the first time on my birthday. I was waiting for Sir on the set and said hello to him. He just walked in, crossed me, and left. I didn't know what to say. Then I went to the set, I was so nervous. I introduced myself. At first, I thought he liked me. No, but, I remember, one day he put up a poster of me from Pushpa. I think we grew closer during the making of the film. He is a beautiful person and I love that side of a legend. Glad to see.
Amitabh Bachchan and Rashmika Mandana will be seen in a father-daughter relationship and their relationship evolves with the changing aspects of life. The film depicts the devastation of every family dealing with life's ups and downs, but it also gently reminds us of the importance of sticking together through it all. The film entered production on 2 April 2021 in Mumbai and the entire shoot was completed on 25 June 2022.
