"Doctor G" is written by Sumit Saxena, Vishal Wagh, Saurabh Bharat along with Anubhuti Kashyap. Produced by Vineet Jain and co-produced by Amrita Pandey, the film also stars Shefali Shah in a guest appearance.

Movie Story/Review
The trailer tells it all that Doctor G will take the audience through an interesting and entertaining journey of an orthopaedic hopeful who becomes an ophthalmologist and the struggles he faces as the only male doctor in a class full of women. I have to do it. With a plot about how a man navigates his way into a woman's world, this high comedy drama explores an interesting subject in a light hearted way.
Khurrana is joined by powerhouse performer Shefali Shah, coordinator of the medical college, Rakul Preet Singh who plays her senior in the film, and Shiba Chadha who plays her mother, and to witness this. Interestingly, the duo have a shared dynamic between the cast. With situational comedy and top notch performances.

Development
The film was announced in December 2020 with Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role, it was Anubhuti Kashyap's directorial debut. In February 2021, Rakul Preet Singh was signed to star opposite Khurrana.
Filming
Principal photography began in July 2021. It was mainly shot in Bhopal. The film was completed in September 2021.
