Ram Setu is a new Indian Hindi-language action-adventure film directed by Abhishek Sharma. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nusrat Bharucha and Satya Dev and follows an archaeologist investigating the nature of Ram Setu, known in English as Adam's Bridge.

The film was announced in November 2020 with principal photography commencing on 30 March 2021 in Mumbai. Production suffered setbacks and delays amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Filming resumed in October 2021 and was completed in January 2022 in Ooty, Daman and Dev and near Mumbai.

According to a report in The Financial Express, director Abhishek Sharma has been trying to craft a plot since 2007 when he came to know about a court case involving Ram Sethu. The film is jointly produced by Akshay Kumar's mother Aruna Bhatia and Vikram Malhotra under the production companies Kumar Cap of Good Films, Abundantia Entertainment, Lyca Productions and Amazon Prime Video.

This is Amazon's first Bollywood production in India. Aruna Bhatia died in September 2021. Chandraprakash Dwivedi was signed up as the creative producer. Kumar called the film "a bridge between past, present and future generations". Co-producer Vikram Malhotra, CEO of Abundantia Entertainment, said the film is a "story based on facts, science and historical heritage".

The plot involves an archaeologist, who sets out to find out if the bridge is a myth or reality. According to the epic Ramayana (7th century BCE to 3rd century CE), Ramasitu is a bridge built by the army of the god Rama to reach Lanka to rescue his wife Sita of Vanara, who was killed by Ravana, the demon king of Lanka. was kidnapped.
