Surah Anam
بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
اَلۡحَمۡدُ
لِلّٰهِ الَّذِىۡ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضَ وَجَعَلَ الظُّلُمٰتِ

Surah Anam Listen Online
Surah Al-Anam "The Cattle" is
the 6th Surah of the Holy Quran which has 165 verses. This Surah was revealed
in Makkah. Surah Al-Anam is based on the contents of Tawheed, Resurrection,
Heaven and Hell. An important part of this Surah is story of Hazrah Ibrahim
(AS). According to the scholars, at the time of its revelation, seventy
thousand angels who came with it will glorify Allah and pray for forgiveness

Surah Anam Read & Listen Tafseer
Al-An'am (Arabic: ٱلأنعام ، alʾanʿām; meaning: cattle) is the
sixth chapter (surah) of the Quran which contains 165 verses. This surah, which
comes after Al-Baqarah, Al-Imran, Al-Nisa 'and Al-Ma'ida in the Qur'an, covers topics such as clear signs of Allah's dominion and power,
polytheism and disbelief, rejection of establishment. Monotheism (pure
monotheism), revelation, prophethood, and resurrection. It is a "Makni
Surah", and is believed to have been revealed in its entirety in the last
year of the Meccan period of Islam.
This belief explains the
time and context of the revelation. This surah also tells the story of Abraham,
who invites others to stop worshiping the heavenly bodies and to turn to Allah.
A group of modern Islamic
scholars from the Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University in Yemen and
Mauritania has issued a fatwa in which the commentary of verse 61 of the Holy
Quran has been taken from Ibn Kathir.
